Whereas we cannot guarantee that matters will be finalised speedily and without contest, as often the reaction of the other party or their solicitors will play a major factor here, you can be sure that we will be professional, friendly and realistic in our approach in order to see you through a difficult time as painlessly as possible.

Of course, the proof of the pudding is in the eating! Why not simply contact us in the first instance to see if we are people who you feel you could comfortably deal with? We doubt very much that you will find any other solicitors in this area with a more competitive fee structure or caring approach. If you do find another firm of solicitors with a more competitive hourly rate on a private basis then we would be very surprised indeed. If you have contacted other solicitors and been put off by the hourly rates you have been quoted, please do take a few minutes to make contact with us to hear what we can offer. You are likely to find that, where we are unable to offer fixed fees in certain areas, our hourly rates will be somewhere near half of those quoted by other solicitors.

Financial Mis selling / Debt Management

If you have been badly advised in respect of any financial products, at Darwin Matthews Solicitors we will be pleased to advise you on the solutions available and pursue any remedy you might have on your behalf against the lender. Claims may arise as a result of the mis-sale of specific products, such as Payment Protection Insurance. Also, many consumers have been badly advised on mortgage products and damages can be substantial in the event of a successful claim. Usually claims can be pursued on the basis of a contingency fee, which means that there are no up-front fees or wasted costs for clients.

Upon personally and confidentially discussing your wishes for the drafting of your will and other needs, Georgia Wakeley will advise on the best way for you to achieve your wishes and ensure they are carried out.

The range and prices of tailored services we provide are as follows;

      Individual Will                           £75 + Vat

      Double Wills (For Spouses)         £100 + Vat

      Lasting Powers of Attorney         £200 + Vat (or £150 if registered while making a Will with us)

      Administration of Estate             £110 + Vat per hour with no percentage charge on estate.

      Family Trust     £220 + Vat(For protection of the family home)

If you have any particularly complex financial concerns or circumstances, we will provide an individual quote.
